The Rubber Bunch Party report oktober 2024

Updated: 3 days ago

One question I often get asked is: Why is the dress code at The Rubber Bunch party so strict? The answer is simple: because it’s just so much fun to look fabulous, and our guests absolutely love it! For many, it’s the perfect opportunity to create and showcase their most extravagant, original, and stunning outfits. The excitement leading up to the event is a key part of the experience, and the result is that our crowd always looks absolutely breathtaking.

But let’s be clear: The Rubber Bunch party is far more than just a fashion show or a dress-up event. Yes, showing off your outfit is part of the fun, but it’s about so much more. Last Saturday, October 12th, was another incredible combination of socializing, meeting new people, dancing, chatting, lounging, and playing. The downstairs club was buzzing, while the play area upstairs was in full swing. And yes, I dare say it: you won’t find more outrageous, original, and remarkable outfits anywhere else than at The Rubber Bunch.

Creativity and self-expression are at the heart of this event. It’s not just about fashion; it’s about showing that part of yourself that you might not always reveal. The Rubber Bunch is not just a party—it’s an escape from the everyday grind. It’s a celebration of individuality, diversity, and inclusivity, where you, along with everyone else, are the shining center of attention.

The strict fetish dress code isn’t just a trick to get past the door; it’s the core of what The Rubber Bunch stands for. It sets the tone for the atmosphere, and over the years, this has proven its worth. The event has become increasingly popular, not just within the Netherlands but across Europe and beyond, attracting a diverse, international crowd.

New to the scene? No worries. The Rubber Bunch is the perfect place to attend on your own. Many visitors come solo to the party, the munch, or the WALK, and they easily connect with others if they wish. Everyone is welcome, and the vibe is always warm and inviting.

The October 12th party was another huge success. The venue was buzzing, and the outfits were, as always, jaw-dropping. I saw everything from rubber aliens with glowing accessories to latex drones, a rubber nun, nurse, and even a full rubber ice hockey outfit—complete with skates! The dance floor stayed packed until the end, and one enthusiastic dancer even commented that the music felt like being in Berlin’s legendary Kit Kat Club—a huge compliment to DJs Andrew Martin (London) and Resonate (Berlin).

The café was buzzing as well, with latex-lover Yggy busy shining rubber to perfection. Meanwhile, the play area, complete with various play equipment and a latex canopy bed, was also well used throughout the night.

The Rubber Bunch, which was founded during the challenging COVID-19 period, has now become a staple in Amsterdam’s fetish scene. And as we approach our 5th anniversary on March 22nd, we’re pulling out all the stops to make it an extra festive event. Preparations are already underway, and early bird tickets are now available on the website, so make sure you don’t miss out!

For those who can’t wait, the next munch will take place on December 20th. Whether you’re in jeans and a sweater or your full fetish outfit, everyone is welcome for a chat and a drink!
