How often do you organise events?

Accepted Answer

We organise events regularly, minimal 2 large parties per year and 4 munches but not on a fixed schedule. Check out the website or our Fetlife regularly to see our upcoming events.

Question 3

How old do I need to be to go to one of the events?

Accepted Answer

You need to be at least 18 years of age to attend the events.

Question 4

I bought a ticket but can’t make it to the event; can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Refunds are only available if and when we need to postpone or cancel the event. Refunds are not available, in case of personal circumstances  or if you have been barred entry due to inappropriate wear or behaviour.

Question 5

What is the difference between the Munch event and the Party event?

Accepted Answer

A munch is a good place to get to know others, to make new connections, and to socialize in general. Sometimes demonstrations may be held, but it’s usually not a space for play. The parties, however, are your kinky fairytale come to life.

Question 6

What is the organisation’s stance on privacy/phone use?

Accepted Answer

We are very strict when it comes to privacy. All attendees must feel safe and be able to enjoy a worry-free evening. Thus the use of a (mobile) phone at the venue is only allowed by the door under supervision of security personnel. If someone reports phone use/pictures being taken the organisation will address the situation immediately. Phone use outside of the designated area may result in removal from the event.

Question 7

Will there be a professional photographer?

Accepted Answer

Only at the parties, never at munches. The photographer will always approach you and ask for permission before taking a shot, and blur the backgrounds of any pictures taken. Your attendance does not equal consent to be photographed! Pictures taken could be published on www.rubberbunch.com for promotional purposes, but will not be used for flyers, posters, or other promotional material.
 
In some cases the organisation may opt to create a dedicated photobooth in which attendees can get their pictures taken.

Question 8

I agreed to have my pictures taken at the event, but now I want them taken down from the website anyway. What should I do?"

Get in touch with our management team by sending an message though our contact form and explaining the situation. Your privacy is paramount and we take it very seriously.

Question 9

Where do I keep my valuables?

Accepted Answer

RUBBERBUNCH provides a dressing area in which attendees can change clothes. This is also the place to leave your belongings. Our advice is to only bring what you need.

I’ve never been to one of these events/ I don’t have anyone to go with.

Accepted Answer

That’s okay! We all start somewhere, and everyone at the BUNCH loves making new connections and bonding over a thing we all love: rubber fetish and kink. Just come on in, grab yourself a drink, and take it from there. You can always go to a demo and ask away, or ask someone about their outfit to break the ice. Some of us may bite, but only when asked ;).

What is the dress code? How will it be enforced?

Munch: That’s all up to you and the other attendees. The most important thing is that you do what feels good for you. If you want to go all out and wear your most intricate latex get-up, that’s perfectly okay. If you prefer testing the waters and want to arrive in your regular clothes that’s also fine. Going for casual latex and mixing the two together is more than welcome. 
Party: It’s a (latex) party, so dress to impress! The doorbitch has the final say in whether you are allowed into the venue. The following options are allowed: Latex (rubber), neopreen and leather. Showing some skin can be alright, but partial or extensive nudity as an outfit is not allowed. You can strip down in the playroom, but make sure to cover up when coming back to the dancefloor. 
Each event offers a changing and/or locker area .

What is and isn’t allowed in the playroom during parties?

Accepted Answer

It’s mostly up to your discretion, as long as you play safe, sane and consensual. With safety and hygiene in mind, medical play, bloodplay and play involving human waste are not allowed. Always make sure all parties involved are on board and able to consent.

Question 14

I feel unsafe or uncomfortable at the event. What should I do?

If you feel like someone is bothering you or keeps overstepping boundaries, please come see one of the hosts. You can recognise us by the coloured bands we'll be wearing on our arms. Together we can see if there’s anything to be done about the situation.
